Eve is a postdoctoral research associate based at the School of Law and Social Justice, University of Liverpool. Eve recently completed her PhD at the University of Aberdeen while teaching on courses in Sociology, Social Policy, Politics and International Relations at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh. This year, she wrote a chapter for the Routledge Studies in Latin American Development series entitled Welfare and Social Protection in Contemporary Latin America. Eve is particularly interested in how states are documenting and identifying populations and the impact of social policy practices on questions of race, citizenship and belonging.
