On June 10th, keynote speaker Lewis Gordon, professor of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut, shared his take on ‘difference’ with Ritu Vij, professor in International Political Economy at the University of Aberdeen.

See the recording of the event below.

“This has been a masterclass in how to begin to think about conceptualizing ‘difference’ differently. In the span of two hours, you’ve walked us through the limits of liberal abstractions, post-modern, post-structural intertextualities, the limits of Afropessimist thought, post-colonial and de-colonial negations, insufficient to the task. And I think what you’ve left us with is a lot to think about.”
