Dr. Augustinus Mohn works as a Digital Trust lead at TNO, working on digital trust, resilience, and responsible digital innovation. 

Whilst in Aberdeen, he completed his PhD in Law, Politics and International Relations with CISRUL from 2014-2017, focusing on the role of human rights in German high strategic policy decision-making processes. His research interests include foreign and national policy-making, strategy and national security, as well as human rights and the use of force in international law. Augustinus’ research was funded both by CISRUL and by the CB Davidson Bequest Trust, which awarded him their annual financial award three times (in 2014, 2015, and 2016).  His supervisors were Professor Mátyás Bódig (Law) and Professor James Wyllie (Politics and International Relations). Augustinus also holds a BSc in Management, Philosophy & Economics from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, as well as an MSc in Strategic Studies & International Law (with Distinction) from the University of Aberdeen.
